Cartesia is a service developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to assist GM's in holding remote games.
In order to create a map, you must first host a server. Click the host
button and enter your desired server number.
Note: All servers are public, so choose a high number if you don't want your server to be easily accessible to strangers.
Click the edit
button to enter edit mode. Click new
and enter the desired grid size to create a new map.
Use the add tile
and add sprite
buttons to add assets to your map.
Tiles are background elements, surfaces or other static props, and sprites are player characters or NPCs that can be moved during gameplay.
Here is a sample map you can use to get started.
In order to use an external image, type the url of the image into the source
field.
